This Synergy 2021 event focused on Equity with presentations on equitable engagement practices in active transportation planning and program development. Featured speakers included representatives from the California Department of Public Health's Office of Health Equity, Caltrans District 2 Active Transportation team, and the Tuolumne River Trust, and each speaker focused on their equity and local community engagement efforts as well as lessons learned from their partnerships and collaborations to advance safety and health for communities that have been historically marginalized.
