Learn how to utilize new interactive GIS maps in your Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program planning and as a tool to prioritize schools for SRTS projects! The SRTS Technical Assistance Resource Center has partnered with UC Berkeley’s SafeTREC to develop these interactive planning maps for each city and county in California. Maps provide a visual depiction of schools, street-level pedestrian and bicycle crashes, school free and reduced price meal eligibility, and past state and federal SRTS grant awards.
