This webinar focused on the resource tool: Safe Routes to School Programs in Rural California: A Guide for Communities and Partners, and included an example of how the tool was used to prioritize a project for funding by the California Transportation Commission’s Active Transportation Program (ATP). A representative of the Merced County Department of Public Health also spoke about their work with local partners to implement SRTS programs and how they successfully applied for ATP Cycle 1 funding.
