Webinar Registration Open: Sustaining Active Transportation Program Non-Infrastructure Activities Beyond the Grant

February 24, 2026, 10:00-11:00 a.m.

The ATRC invites you to its next webinar to learn about sustainability as required in the Active Transportation Program Guidelines (Section I: Sustainability) and hear from two California Active Transportation Program projects which have maintained active transportation activities beyond their funding period. The speakers will discuss how they were able to secure continued funding for these activities.

Jeanne LePage, Strategic Fund Development Director, Ecology Action

Ecology Action is a non-profit environmental organization serving California’s Central Coast whose mission is to advance equitable community climate solutions, of which equitable active transportation is a part. They have built a tapestry of funding sources to complement multiple ATP awards.

Kerri Venderbom, Program Manager, Injury Prevention Program, Butte County Public Health

The Butte County Public Health Injury Prevention Program has secured several rounds of ATP funding, including a notable Cycle 4 award dedicated exclusively to non-infrastructure efforts. This specific grant was instrumental in establishing foundational work and fostering key community collaborations that continue today.
