Funding active transportation programs is more important than ever given the urgency posed by rising trends in crashes and fatalities among pedestrians and cyclists. Active transportation programs also align with California’s goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through reduced vehicle miles traveled. In this webinar, we examine two State active transportation-related non-infrastructure funding programs, one focused on plans and another on education and encouragement. We also explore how to leverage existing local funding sources and other technical assistance resources available to help agencies’ non-infrastructure applications be more competitive.
Our mission is to provide resources, technical assistance, and training to transportation partners across California to increase opportunity for the success of active transportation projects.
