Caltrans Active Transportation Resource Center (ATRC) hosted a webinar entitled, “Implementation of Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Curricula in California Schools.” This webinar provided a great opportunity to learn from the experiences of two Active Transportation Program-funded projects in California who have recently implemented various bike and pedestrian safety curricula in school settings, and in afterschool programs.

As part of this webinar, ATRC staff highlighted other national, state and local curriculums that are available to Safe Routes to School programs.

Webinar Speakers: Ann Dickman, Director of Maternal, Child, Adolescent Health, Butte County Health Department; Rebecca Tryon, Health Program Coordinator, Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency; Mary Strode, Lead Program Coordinator, Caltrans Active Transportation Resource Center, California Department of Public Health
